Ultrasonic Level Measurement Explained
Meet Jeff Cassells and Adrian Dalby as they demonstrate how our unique DATEM Echo Processing Software works using Pulsar Measurement’s infamous “briefcase dance”.
Often, in a wastewater setting getting accurate and reliable level measurement is somewhat tricky thanks to various obstructions such as chains, ladders, pump heads, and walls. These obstructions can cause some ultrasonic level sensors an absolute nightmare to try and give back an accurate and reliable reading, providing competing echoes for the transducer to read.
Jeff and Adrian demonstrate that by using DATEM Echo Processing Software, unique to Pulsar Measurement, we are able to focus in on the true level of a sump or wet well and ignore other competing echoes from various obstructions.
Description
- Ultimately giving accurate and reliable readings, allowing for alarms to be set and efficient pump control to be programmed.
